Job Description
With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.
The Resource Team provides quality, comprehensive patient care in an assigned facility, covering for regular staff members that, for a variety of reasons, are unable to attend to their normal positions. The Resource Team provides clinical and nursing support and encompasses a broad skill set that enables members to float to various areas in the hospital or clinic. You could gain valuable first-hand clinical operations and health care experience as a Clinic Assistant. In this role you would perform routine tasks ranging from monitoring supplies to administering health care to patients of all ages to supporting departmental staff. Minimum Qualifications: High School Graduate or equivalent. Current American Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Card. Mustbe able to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion of orientation period.
Preferred Qualifications: Basic medical terminology. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience. One (1) year back office medical assistant experience in an outpatient clinic, physician’s office, or related experience. Experience with Epic.
