Hawaii Pacific Health Clinical Assistant - Ambulatory Surgery in Aiea, Hawaii

Job Description With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.

The Ambulatory Surgery department provides a wide array of surgical procedures and care in an outpatient setting. Patients requiring attention for medical conditions that can be treated without overnight admission to a hospital are attended to by our team of general and specialized surgery professionals. We offer state-of-the-art technology, comfortable surroundings and health care staff who are skilled, knowledgeable and sensitive to patient's needs.

As the Clinical Assistant, you will play an integral role the team of accomplished medical professionals providing exceptional health care services at Pali Momi. In this role, you will assist in performing a variety of nursing and health care procedures, as well as certain clerical services. We are looking for someone helpful and dedicated, with a fine-tuned sense of responsibility, the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Completion of nurse aide course with certification or completion of nursing fundamentals. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.

Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of clinical experience or a successful completion of HPH Nurse Aide Program. Current Hawaii CNA certificate. One year clerical experience in a healthcare setting.
