Job Description
With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.
The Resource team at Pali Momi provides quality, comprehensive patient care in an assigned facility, covering for regular staff members that, for a variety of reasons, are unable to attend to their normal positions. The Resource Team provides clinical and nursing support and encompasses a broad skill set that enables members to float to various areas in the hospital or clinic. Under the direct supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse, you will help to deliver quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care. Minimum Qualifications: Must be in last semester of nursing school or have completed a degree in nursing or nursing school educational program accepted for registered nurse licensure by the Hawai‘i Board of Nursing. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
Preferred Qualifications: Completion of Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s Academy Innovations program.
