Job Description

With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.

The Orthopedics Department is trained to handle the most common of injuries, from sprains, broken bones and sports injuries, to specialized conditions such as arthritis and congenital disorders. Our multi-disciplinary team includes fellowship-trained orthopedic physicians, rheumatologists, physical therapists, nurses and other health care providers that specialize in treating a wide range of injuries in children and adults.

As the Orthopedic Rehab Aide, you will have the opportunity to provide life-changing rehabilitative and therapeutic services by assisting our physician staff with the delivery of orthopedic and physical therapy services for Pali Momi patients in our Orthopedics department. We are looking for someone with strong patient care and communication skills, willingness to work in a team-oriented atmosphere and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.

Minimum Qualifications: High School or equivalent. Current American Heart Association Heart Saver – AED CPR card. Must be flexible to float to various Rehab and Orthopedic departments, including other satellite clinics on O‘ahu.

Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year experience with splinting/casting and application of braces.
