With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.
The Pharmacy department is responsible for compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals, supplies, and large-to-small volume parenterals, as well as providing drug information and education. We strive to ensure that our patients and clients receive safe and effective medication by applying the highest standards of modern pharmaceutical care. We are now looking for an Emergency Department (ED) Pharmacist who is ready to participate in the fast paced environment of ED medicine to join the pharmacy and ED team.
As an ED Pharmacist, you will provide pharmaceutical services to our patients and their families and collaborate with ED physicians, nurses and other healthcare staff. This includes medication reconciliation, order review/verification, dispensing of medications and supplies, and medication management and monitoring via established protocols. In addition you will provide drug education, participate in emergency drug management (codes, stroke, trauma, sepsis), protocol development and committee activities. We are looking for someone meticulous and attentive to pharmaceutical protocol, quality control and integrity, who shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai’i pharmacist license.
Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year hospital pharmacy experience.
