Hawaii Pacific Health Analyst, Contract - Supply Chain Management in Honolulu, Hawaii

Job Description Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. The Supply Chain Management team is dedicated to overseeing the purchase of equipment, merchandise and supplies within the organization’s guidelines for cost, quality and accurate delivery. Staff may receive, stock and transport a variety of items to and from off-site locations, handle messenger pickups and deliveries outside the facilities, maintain stockroom inventories, route incoming goods to proper departments and research or negotiate products according to quality, price and value standards.

Under the general direction of the Vice President of Supply Chain Management or designee, assists Contracting team with various projects and assignments including analysis and discharge of vendor agreements, maintenance of contract documentation and files, internal communication of contract provisions, and the development and success of contract related processes. In collaboration with Supply Chain Management and Clinical Operations staff, optimizes Physician Preference Item (PPI) and consignment inventory agreements.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education, training and/or related work experience. Three (3) to five (5) years of business related experience to include purchasing, contract analysis, proposal development, or related functions. Must have demonstrated strong analytical, information systems and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Business, Economics, Health Care Administration, or related field preferred.
