Job Description
Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. At the Mililani Family Health Center our services include: diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury for infants, children, adolescents and adults; periodic physical examinations for children and adults; complete obstetrics/gynecology and family planning services; lab testing and on-site X-ray and mammography services and routine immunizations.
You could gain valuable first-hand clinical operations and health care experience as a Clinic Aide. You will join the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff on Maui that provide our recognized compassionate health services to patients and their families. In this role you would serve as a nursing assistant who performs routine tasks ranging from monitoring supplies to administering health care to patients of all ages to supporting departmental staff. We are looking for someone diligent and motivated, who enjoys learning in a fast-paced clinical environment and shares our commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.

Minimum Qualifications: Nurse aide or medical assistant certificate showing successful completion of courses for a nurse assistant or medical assistant training program; completion of a fundamentals course from an accredited school of Nursing (name of nursing school and completion of fundamentals course); Military Corpsman certificate; EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or MICT (Mobile Intensive Care Technician) certificate; A Registered Nurse/Medical Doctor license or graduate certificate from a college in a foreign country. Current American Heart Association Heart Saver - AED CPR card.
Preferred Qualifications: Completion of medical terminology course.
