Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 243 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,500 employees and more than 630 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani. The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.

The Clinical Apheresis and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Collection Program at Hawai‘i Pacific Health brings together a multitude of resources to provide care to patients requiring clinical procedural services across the continuum of care. Utilizing state of the art technology and resources available, the program works to optimize results for patients and provide crucial support throughout the care process.

As the Coordinator, you will coordinate multidisciplinary resources in support of the Clinical Apheresis and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Collection Program for Hawai‘i Pacific Health. In addition, you will work on developing, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of program services to promote and render the highest quality of care for patients and provide operational accountability. We are looking for someone with outstanding communication and organizational skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS). Three (3) to five (5) years clinical experience in pediatrics and/or adults in medicine/surgery.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration or related field. Current national certification in area of specialty. One (1) year charge Registered Nurse or related experience. Previous experience with clinical apheresis and/or oncology/transplant services.
