Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. The Hematopoietic Cell Transplant Program at Hawai‘i Pacific Health brings together a multitude of resources to provide care to patients requiring clinical procedural services for the treatment of blood cancers and related disorders across the continuum of care. Utilizing state of the art technology and resources available, the program works to optimize results for patients and provide crucial support throughout the care process.

As the Coordinator, Cellular Immunotherapy, you will perform nursing functions and coordinate all aspects related to the implementation of cellular immunotherapy collection and infusion of commercially available products, research protocols, and clinical trials. You will develop, implement, and evaluate all aspects of program services in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team to promote and render the highest quality of care for patients. In this role, you will provide operational accountability for the Hematopoietic Cell Transplant program.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i RN License. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) card. Current HI driver’s license and auto insurance. Must obtain Good Clinical Practice certification within 90 days of hire. Three (3) to five (5) years acute care experience. One (1) year of current experience in Oncology.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Oncology Nursing Certification. Adult and Pediatric Oncology experience. One (1) year charge nurse or related experience. Stem Cell Transplant or Cellular Therapy experience.
