Kapi'olani Medical Specialists (KMS) is a specialty physician group dedicated to caring for Hawai'i's women and children through excellence in academics, physician training, medical research and clinical care. The group is comprised of over 100 Specialists, Nurse Practitioners and other staff, covering newborn to women's health services at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children. KMS operates exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes, offering highly specialized care options at Kapi'olani and building support for these services within Hawai'i as a whole. The group’s specialty areas include: Neurology, Orthopedics,Genetics, Adolescent Medicine, Otolaryngology, Behavioral Health Services, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, Pediatric Intensive Care, Family Medicine and the full spectrum of Pediatric Specialties. Its Women's specialists include Breast and General Surgery, Adult Hospitalists and GYN Oncology.

The Orthopedics department is trained to handle the most common of injuries, from sprains, broken bones and sports injuries, to specialized conditions such as arthritis and congenital disorders. Our multi-disciplinary team includes fellowship-trained orthopedic physicians, rheumatologists, physical therapists, nurses and other health care providers that specialize in treating a wide range of injuries in children and adults.

As the Clinical Care Coordinator at the Orthopedics department, you will have the opportunity to work with young children and their families by coordinating patient care services. You will develop, implement, and evaluate clinical services in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team to promote and render the highest quality of service for patients. We are looking for someone with outstanding communication and organizational skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Three (3) years recent Registered Nurse experience in Pediatrics, OB/GYN, or Adult Medicine.

Preferred Qualifications: Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Current national certification in area of specialty.
