Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani. The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.

The Ambulatory Surgery department provides a wide array of surgical procedures and care in an outpatient setting. Patients requiring attention for medical conditions that can be treated without overnight admission to a hospital are attended to by our team of general and specialized surgery professionals. We provide state-of-the-art technology, comfortable surroundings and health care staff who are skilled, knowledgeable and sensitive to patient's needs.

As the Clinical Coordinator, you will coordinate between multidisciplinary resources for the Perioperative Services team at Kapi‘olani, serving as an organizational expert and coordinating efforts to set clinical standards and nursing processes. Exempt: Yes

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) CPR cards. Three (3) to five (5) years recent Registered Nurse experience in Perioperative Services.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Nursing or healthcare related field. One (1) year Registered Charge Nurse experience. Current national certification.
