Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. The Human Resources team builds collaborative strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to support the organization’s mission, goals and initiatives. We develop areas such as workforce staffing and development, operational support, compensation, payroll, benefits, employee relations and organizational effectiveness. In this role, you will be the principal architect in formulating employee and labor relations strategy and policies for Hawai‘i Pacific Health. This includes serving as the chief negotiator of collective bargaining agreements for the organization as well as our liaison with labor unions; collaborating with and advising senior leadership to formulate labor related policies; and developing initiatives to minimize the risk of non-bargaining staff organization. We are looking for someone with strong organizational and strategic planning skills who shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field, and/or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid driver’s license and current Hawai‘i auto insurance. Five (5) years of experience as a Labor Relations expert, HR Generalist, HR Manager, and/or direct work experience in employee relations.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree. HR certification. Seasoned strategic labor professional with health care experience. Experience with multi-union

environments, contract negotiations, laws, and regulations applicable to health care.
