Job Description
Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. The Decision Support System encompasses the analysis of data, cost and reimbursement models and financial and management reporting to promote optimal use and integrity of the Decision Support System (DSS). DSS is a computer-based information system that supports organizational decision-making activities, serving the management, operations and planning levels of Hawai‘i Pacific Health and strengthening their capacity to make decisions in a rapidly-changing business and health care environment.
If you are highly organized and detail-oriented, you can help to build the highest administrative and management standards for Hawai‘i Pacific Health hospitals and clinics. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide financial and patient related data analysis, including the review of system operations, to understand past and future performance, develop new programs and optimize the organization’s financial performance. You will also collaborate with system-wide service lines, marketing and physician staff to ensure the organization’s financial viability; and analyze and develop methods to refine contract models to maximize revenues. We are looking for an individual with exceptional analytical and planning skills, an appreciation for fiscal management and protocol and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Four (4) years of previous finance, billing, coding and/or reimbursement work experience in a health care setting. Extensive computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Crystal Report writing Preferred.
