Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. The Oncology Care Unit department strives to provide competent and safe care to patients admitted for acute nursing interventions of 24 hours or more. Our highly trained and professional staff treats people recovering from serious illness requiring telemetry monitoring, oncology treatment, orthopedic and major surgeries. Medication and treatments are provided in a warm and caring environment that facilitates swift recovery.

Under the direct supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse, you will help to deliver quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care. Minimum Qualifications: Must be in last semester of nursing school or have completed a degree in nursing or nursing school educational program accepted for registered nurse licensure by the Hawai‘i Board of Nursing. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
Prefered Qualifications: Completion of Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s Academy Innovations program.
