At Straub Clinic & Hospital, our cardiologists offer a full range of services in adult cardiology and a pediatric cardiology program with our affiliate facilities on O‘ahu. Our services include non-invasive and minimally-invasive diagnostic evaluation using procedures such as angiograms, echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, exercise tolerance testing, thallium stress testing and electrophysiology testing. The Straub Heart Center has been designated a Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care by HMSA for its excellence.
As a Medical Assistant, you will join the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide our signature compassionate health services to patients and their families. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities in our Electrophysiology department. We are looking for someone detail-oriented and attentive, with strong communications and patient care skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Work Schedule: Day - 9 Hours

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
Preferred Qualifications: Six (6) months medical assistant experience. Knowledge of Classification Procedural Terminology (CPT) or ICD-10 coding. Experience with electronic medical records.
