The Preauthorization Team supports our organization by working with clinic staff and insurance companies to obtain authorization for services requested by our physicians.
As a Patient Service Representative, you will serve as a liaison between our clinics and insurance companies to obtain preauthorizations for services requested by our physicians. These include: communicating with clinic staff and insurance companies electronically and on the phone as well as keeping up-to-date with insurance guidelines. We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication and computer skills, ability to work effectively under minimal supervision, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality care to our patients.

Work Schedule: Day - 8 Hours

Bargaining Unit: Non-Bargaining
Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. One (1) year of clerical support in a healthcare setting or related experience. Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications: International Classification of Diseases and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Coding Certification. Basic medical terminology. Experience with EPIC.
