The Pharmacy department is responsible for compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals, supplies, medications and large-to-small volume parenterals, as well as providing drug information and education. We strive to ensure that our patients and clients receive safe and effective medication by applying the highest standards of modern pharmaceutical care.

As the Pharmacy Medication Safety Technician, you will be a part of the development and implementation of a medication safety program for Hawai'i Pacific Health. You will gather data and utilize your excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with pharmacy and other departments to sustain the medication safety program across the organization. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and has excellent organizational and operational skills, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Three (3) years hospital pharmacy experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited pharmacy technician-training program. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Board (PTCB). One (1) year experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting.
