Job Description

The Cardiology professionals at Straub provide a comprehensive array of heart and vascular services for every stage of life, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Our highly trained staff of medical professionals continues to bring innovative cardiac therapies that maximize patient safety and comfort while minimizing risk and recovery time. Our services include non-invasive and minimally-invasive diagnostic evaluation using procedures such as angiograms, echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, exercise tolerance testing, thallium stress testing and electrophysiology testing. At our state-of-the-art facilities, which can accommodate the full spectrum of diagnostic, treatment and surgical procedures, patients and their families can expect the highest level of care.
As the Physician Assistant, you will gain invaluable experience and insight as part of our professional physician team while performing a variety of patient care activities related to the diagnosis and treatment of patients in the Cardiology department. We are looking for someone motivated and driven, with outstanding patient care and communication skills, ability to work effectively under minimal supervision and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Physician Assistant license. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) CPR card. One (1) year recent physician assistant experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Cardiology clinic.
