Job Description
The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 700 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. The Straub Doctors On Call program provides quality health care in Waikiki to both residents and visitors. We offer a broad range of non-emergency medical care at two locations in Waikiki: the Hilton Hawaiian Village and Sheraton Princess Ka‘iulani Hotel, including 24-hour physician services, laboratory and X-Ray imaging. In addition, Doctors On Call offers a full spectrum of occupational health services such as physical examinations, drug tests, worker's compensation care and immunizations. Our physicians are assisted by a full staff of nurses, accredited technicians and international liaisons who are fluent in Japanese and English.
As a Physician Assistant for Docs on Call Urgent Care department, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate and life-changing care to newborns and their families. You will be responsible for the direct care and treatment of urgent care patients; leading and performing patient evaluations, treatments and specialized technical procedures; serving as a clinical resource to staff and physicians; and facilitating the health education of family members, referrals to other disciplines and consultation with other allied health personnel. We are looking for someone with warm and professional patient care skills, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Physician Assistant license. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. One (1) year Physician Assistant experience in an acute care setting or successful completion of a specialty specific training program.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in area of specialty.
