Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Population Health or designee, supports the Population Health department with patient attribution processing and quality metric review. Updates and maintains attribution and quality information, assists in report generation, and maintenance.
As a Population Health Specialist in our Population Outreach department, you will be responsible for patient attribution processing and quality metric review. In addition, you will update and maintain attribution and quality information, assist in report generation and maintenance. We are looking for someone detail-oriented and attentive, with strong communication skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Business or healthcare related field OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or work experience. Current driver's license and valid Hawaii auto insurance. Six (6) months of experience in a physician office, OR, equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMS) OR Assessment Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABR-OR) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) OR Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). Coursework or certification in Classification Procedural Terminology (CPT) and/or international Classification of Disease (ICD-10) Coding and/or work experience interacting with CPT/ICD-10 codes.

Rate of pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience and training, as well as internal peer equity.
