Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 243 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,500 employees and more than 630 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani. The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
The Staffing Office is vital to the daily operations at our facilities. This dedicated team monitors and ensures adequate staffing levels on a day-to-day basis and assists with managing the patient flow through the hospital, so that health care professionals can focus on providing the highest level of service to our patients and their families.
If you have outstanding organizational abilities, you could be the ideal candidate for our Staffing Resource System Specialist position, where you will help to coordinate the scheduling for designated units, maintain updated data within the scheduling system, complete periodic reports, process time and attendance records, provide payroll support and perform clerical duties as necessary. You will also participate as a member of the resource management team as assigned. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, an appreciation for fiscal integrity and information management and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Business or related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year experience in staffing/scheduling, office management, or related experience.
