Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region’s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.
Information Technology (IT) implements, supports and maintains all systems at Pali Momi facilities. The department encompasses the people, records and activities that process the data and information in the organization. The team provides support to users, and acts as the key liaison between the business community and vendors. It also codes, defines criteria, performs testing and debugging, and maintains programs in order to meet the informational needs of Pali Momi’s facilities and administrative offices. Our Telecommunications team is responsible for administering and providing efficient and effective means of communication throughout the Hawai‘i Pacific Health facility network.
If you have excellent managerial and customer service skills, you could help to provide efficient and helpful communications services for the employees and clients of Straub Clinic & Hospital. As the Telecommunications Supervisor, you will supervise the day-to-day operations of our telephone operator services and infrastructure. We are looking for someone with outstanding organizational ability who shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Three (3) years experience in telecommunications or a position with extensive customer service experience to include successful leadership, management, and/or supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous lead or supervisory experience.
