Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Two (2) years of recent Operating Room experience or two (2) years recent experience as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five (5) years. Current National Commission of Certifying Agencies (NCCA)-approved credential in surgical technology (CST™, CSFA™, or CST/CSFA™).
Preferred Qualifications: Documentation indicating proficiency in instructional methodology, curriculum design, and program planning preferred. Examples include documentation of previous teaching experience [surgical technology-related] that includes responsibilities for instructional methodology, curriculum design, and/or program planning or documentation of formal coursework in instructional methodology, curriculum design, and/or program planning.
