Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The Medical Surgical department provides competent and safe care to patients admitted for acute nursing interventions of 24 hours or more within surgical/medical and oncology services. Our highly trained and professional staff treats people recovering from serious illness, orthopedic problems and major surgery. Medication and treatments are provided in a warm and caring environment that facilitates patient recovery.
If you have a fine-tuned sense of responsibility and excellent patient communication skills, you could help the Clinical Operation team uphold the highest standards of excellence in health care at Wilcox’s Medical Surgical department. As the Clinical Assistant, you will assist in performing nursing and health care service procedures, as well as certain clerical services. We are looking for someone motivated and detail-oriented who shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Completion of nurse aide course with certification or completion of one year of a nursing program. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
Preferred Qualifications: Current Hawai’i Certified Nursing Assistant certificate. One (1) year clerical experience in a health care setting.
