Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua‘i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology. Its 18-bed emergency department serves as the island’s Primary Stroke Center. The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same-day surgery beds. Wilcox is the first American College of Surgeons-verified Level III Trauma Center in the state of Hawai‘i. The Imaging department at Wilcox Health, recently named the Wilcox Family Imaging Center, is a full-service department providing routine and specialized imaging and/or therapeutic procedures for inpatient, outpatient and emergency patients. The department is staffed seven days a week, 24-hours-a-day. Board-certified physician radiologists provide quality care and timely interpretation of radiographic procedures. Services provided include General Radiology (X-rays), Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT or CT scan), Ultrasound, Digital Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear medicine, Echocardiography and Bone Densitometry.

As the Imaging Manager, you will help to ensure that the Imaging Services at Wilcox Memorial Hospital to provide state-of-the-art diagnostic services and quality care for patients and their families. In this role, you will manage daily operations of the department and assigned areas of responsibility (CT, Diagnostic, EEG, EKG, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound). You will also participate in planning activities and implement initiatives to enhance both the care environment and scope of service provided to imaging patients. Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license. Valid driver's license and access to an automobile with current Hawaii auto insurance. Five (5) years imaging supervisory/management or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in radiology or related field. Registered Radiology Technician (RT) (R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Techs (ARRT). MQSA accreditation process and NRC licensing process. Experience in various imaging modalitites.

Rate of pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience and training, as well as internal peer equity.
